There are 2 Lakes, a small lake that feeds to the big lake. Both lakes are stocked with Catfish, Bass, & Feeder fish. Until Further Notice Fishing is Catch & Release at The Lake
LAKE THUNDERB1RD OWNERS ASSOCIATION P. 0. Box 68 Smithville, Texas 78957 1. No swimming in the lake. 2. No use of boats with gasoline motors are permitted on the lake. 3. No skiing. Lake is for fishing only. 4. No trout line or jug fishing. Please do not sane bate out of lake, LTOA buys feeder fish to feed the fish in Lake Thunderbird. 5. No depositing of refuge of any kind in Lake Thunderbird waters, on the dam, or in the parks. 6. By state requirement, no trees are permitted to grow on the dam. 7. No vehicles of any kind are permitted on the dam except for those vehicles required For maintaining upkeep; such as tractors, mowers, or vehicles used to pick trash and burn. 8. No Guns or Shooting at lakes, No killing of water fowl. 9. No loitering around boat ramp. 10. Life preservers required while on the water. 11. No alcoholic beverages 12. Membership cards required. 13. Noise ordinance enforced after 10 p.m. 14. No child under 15 without adult member. 15. Fishing rules:
